There's a clubhouse once you step off the boat, with an honesty bar, pool with a floating boat, indoor and outdoor braai, full kitchen, Koffee station, games, kids' play area, lounge, and dining space. The paving means you can walk around without shoes. It's always tidy, and Hanelie is friendly and ready to help. Living on boats in the Klein Karoo is such a great concept. The boats have air conditioning and working bathrooms, and the accommodation is clean with everything functioning. You get the feeling of being aboard a boat with the comforts of land. The captain would be proud of how the crew runs the marina.

There are lots of stories around the boats, the swimming pool, and more. You sleep on a yacht in the dry Karoo, with air conditioning, which is essential there, and white linen. Everything was very clean. Definitely a must do.

What makes Mount Noah so special is staying in boats with real character. You can sense the care and love put into them, and it feels like being at sea in the middle of the Klein Karoo. The views from the deck are beautiful, and the quiet made the stay even more special. Everything was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Mount Noah, Oudtshoorn exceeded all my expectations. It's an unusual, inspiring place with plenty of character, and more than just somewhere to sleep. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone after something extraordinary.

The boat accommodation is a little tight, but it was still fun. We had a great time at Mount Noah in March 2025, and it was a nice change. I'd recommend it to others.
