The rooms felt roomy, clean, and modern, with thoughtful decor. We had a small oven and fridge, though DSTV had limited channels. They charged just R100 extra for our two small dogs, and there’s a pool, braai area, and secure parking outside. We were helped at short notice even though everything else had closed for the day, and we could order dinner. It was delicious. A few things bothered me: the place is on the main road, where big trucks speed past, and the TV made a white noise that made it hard to hear. I also thought the price was on the high side for a 3-star place.

We stayed here during a long journey, and it worked really well as a place to stop. It’s right in the heart of town, with good restaurants an easy walk away. Booking and check-in were both straightforward. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and well equipped, with a personal feel. You can tell a lot of care and effort went into the place. The owners are friendly and take an active interest in their guests.

We stopped for one night at Olivier's Rust on the way to Cape Town. The room was spacious and spotless, with lovely linen, toiletries, and a kitchen stocked with what we needed. The service was so friendly, and it was great value for money.

Such a peaceful place for a getaway. The self-catering units have everything you need, and it’s pet friendly, so our little ones could come along on holiday too :-)

I’ve stayed here overnight a few times over the years. It’s lovely accommodation in a quaint little village, and Elsa always goes out of her way to make sure you have a good stay.
