Pierre and Debbie are such friendly hosts and really go out of their way to make you comfortable. Bright House Villa feels truly first class, with beautiful artwork and decorations, plus a private swimming pool. We also tried the top class restaurant Jemima's next door, with an excellent tapas menu and top class wine list. An amazing, truly five star guest house. We’ll certainly visit again!

We loved the three lovely en-suite bedrooms, especially the quality mattresses, linen and towels. The facilities were five star, and we were reluctant to leave this elegant, sophisticated villa. Its eclectic furnishings and gorgeous artworks made it a perfect oasis to escape to.

On our way to Cape Town, we had a lovely, warm stay in a beautifully designed little home in the middle of nowhere. There isn’t much to see outside the house, apart from the restaurant just beyond the garden, but the accommodation itself offers plenty for a cozy night in. It has two indoor fireplaces, grill stations, a hot tub and a very cute pool. The design is unique and the hosts are lovely. If I’m ever nearby again, they can count on seeing me.

The outdoor and indoor spaces are so livable, with beautiful art and furniture and plenty of local flair. Jemima’s is right on the doorstep with superb food and fine wines, and the staff are friendly, capable, gracious and attentive hosts. This is an absolute gem of the Karoo. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful stay. I won’t stay anywhere else again.
