Modderkloof Farm Accommodation

The peaceful farm setting was one of the best parts of my stay at Modderkloof Accommodation. You can wander the grounds, stroll through the vineyards, or sit on the patio with a glass of local wine. It’s a lovely way to get away from city life and spend time in nature. Nearby towns and wine estates are only a short drive away, so exploring the area is easy. My room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with beautiful views over the vineyards and mountains. Waking up to that scenery was a highlight, and the comfortable bed made for a restful night after exploring. The accommodation has all the necessary amenities, while keeping a cozy, rustic feel that suits the rural surroundings. The hosts made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. Modderkloof is a charming farm stay in the Cape Winelands, with a great mix of comfort, quiet, and scenery. My experience was delightful. I’d recommend it for a romantic trip, a family holiday, or simply a quiet escape.

It’s close by, but feels like you’ve gone away on holiday. The place was well equipped, which was a pleasant surprise, and the views are beautiful. A friendly, relaxed and peaceful spot. Thanks for having us!

Apartment 1 was spacious and lovely, with comfortable beds and crisp white linen. There are scenic views from both patio areas, plus enough puzzles, books, and board games to keep you busy, as well as a tennis court. A great place to unwind on long walks, with friendly dogs to join you.

We stopped here for one night, and it was beautiful and so peaceful. The room had everything we needed, and the staff were very friendly. There were tennis courts and a pool too, though we didn’t have time to use them.
