We had a really good stay and would happily return on our next visit to Parys. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the units are peaceful while still close to all the amenities. The backup inverter came in handy for load shedding, and there’s a gas geyser and stove too. Highly recommended.

Walking to restaurants and shops was easy thanks to the location. Hennie was welcoming and easy to contact whenever we needed anything. We stayed in the Bonsai cottage for the weekend. It was tidy and clean, with thoughtful little touches that made it comfortable. The crisp white bedding and towels were lovely, and it had aircon and DSTV as well. Thanks for having us, we’ll definitely be back!

The Boabab unit was neat and clean, and it’s conveniently close to activities, shops, and restaurants. But our long weekend there in June was very cold. The aircon only blew cold air, and when we complained about the room temperature, the owner didn’t offer another way to heat it. The gas geyser was hard to get going, so only one of us managed a hot shower on the first day. We had cold showers on each of the next three mornings. Wifi was listed as provided, but we could only use it outside, not in the room.
