Mariet and Johan treated us like family. They quickly made sure the 86 year old in our group had a comfortable room with easier access to the patio. The area is peaceful and the gardens are beautiful. Highly recommended.

We found the guest house very welcoming. The owners were wonderful and went out of their way to look after us, including our infant and an elderly person. It's conveniently located for anyone attending a wedding at imperfect perfection. Breakfast was really good, and the bed was comfortable. There is beautiful art throughout the house, and we spotted two owls while we were there. The road in is dirt, but it didn't take away from our stay. I'd recommend the place to anyone.

The owners were friendly when we arrived, and the food was great. But our bedroom was so small I couldn't get around the bed without asking my partner to move, and the bathroom was outside the room, so we had to cover up whenever we went there. Nobody showed us the coffee station or gave us the wifi password. That was okay since other guests said wifi was down anyway.

Breakfast was a feast, and I stayed in the gorgeous Kimberly room, where you won't want for anything. My hosts, Johan and Mariet, were so lovely and accommodating that it felt like visiting family. Their three gorgeous dogs made my day too. I knew they'd go to great lengths if I needed anything. I can only hope to stay there again, and I ABSOLUTELY recommend their guesthouse!

Friendly, helpful hosts, a great breakfast and a good-value overnight stay. The five stars say it all.
