Deja-Vu B&B

Dean, the owner and host, helped with restaurant bookings and ideas for things to do in Paternoster. The place was clean, quiet, and relaxing, and good value for money. From the bedroom and balcony, the sea view is incredible. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and fall asleep to the beach waves with a fresh sea breeze.

At Deja-Vu, the ocean is so close that I felt Poseidon could wave good morning. We woke to the sound of waves, a gentle sea breeze, and the sun coming up. It felt like heaven by the beach in Paternoster. Dean welcomed us like old friends and knew the area well, offering tips on where to go and eat. She and her helper kept the B&B running smoothly, with plenty of love, laughter, and perhaps some caffeine. While we were out on the beach, Dean made the room sparkle and the bed up so neatly it felt almost criminal to mess it up. I did, with gusto, every night, and she restored it the next day like a room-cleaning superhero. The bed had some kind of magic to it. Once I lay down, all the world’s stress disappeared. The shower was like a warm waterfall and made me feel I deserved a spa treatment. Breakfast was quite an experience too. Dean served a spread that got a standing ovation from my taste buds: crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs that seemed fit for Michelin-starred hens, and coffee strong enough to wake the dead after a night in that bed. Deja-Vu is a place that makes you feel something. We left with sand in our shoes, warmth in our hearts, and, honestly, a few extra pounds from those breakfasts.

The views were spectacular and the place was so peaceful. We loved every second, from the wonderful, friendly hosts to their sweet, energetic, lovable Luna. Service went above and beyond, including sorting out dinner options and making reservations when we weren’t sure what we wanted. The stay and service were amazing, and breakfast was exceptional. We’ll be back!
