We were a family of four, my wife, me and our two kids, and stayed one night at King Fisher lodge on December 15/2025. The two blood sisters who own the lodge are so kind and friendly. They welcomed us warmly, and the place made us feel like we were in another village somewhere on the African continent. It’s surrounded by coastal tropical forest near lake st.lucia, with palm trees and a lovely sunset view. I love birds, and there were nice sightings in the morning and afternoon. The famous Igwalagwala trail is nearby for birdwatching, and they can help you hire a guide. The rooms were very clean and beautiful inside and out, with good aircon and mosquito nets. My wife, kids and I were all happy sleeping there. In the morning, we had a lovely complimentary breakfast served with a smile. It’s worth the price, and I recommend King Fisher lodge for a peaceful, lovely stay in st.lucia.

The garden and pool were nice, breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and good, though it had no view. The place sits at the end of the main street in a subtropical setting, away from the bustle of central St Lucia.

We only stayed one night, but it felt like a little piece of paradise, with beautiful surroundings. Manager( Michelle) welcomed us warmly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Everything was just beautiful.

The room was clean, neat and nice, and the receptionist and staff were very welcoming. It’s central and has a great atmosphere. A bonus at night is hearing Hippos chewing away on the lawn!

A lovely garden, very friendly hosts, and a nice lodge at the end of the road. I just wish breakfast were served earlier, especially if you want to get into the park early.
