Farr Out Guest House

We never got to do the Fynbos Safari during our holiday, despite eventually booking the Beach Buggy Fynbos Safari. I first messaged Deon on WhatsApp on Tuesday 10 February and had no reply by Friday 13 February. My call went to voicemail, and another call on Monday 16 February went unanswered. Later I saw a missed call from Marion. I didn’t know then that she was Deon’s partner, but when I called back we managed to book. Within an hour, Marion messaged to cancel because Deon had other commitments. I said we were free all week, and she said she’d get back to us. By Friday 20 February, our holiday was over and we still hadn’t gone on the safari. Thanks, Deon and Marion. I hope you don’t treat every potential customer this way.

Marion and Deon made us feel very welcome, and the service was top class. The rooms and guest house have lots of thoughtful details. We also loved the hot tub and the beach buggy trip with Deon. Had a great time at Farrout and will definitely be back.

We slept so well in a comfortable bed, and it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is first class, and breakfast was divine. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and even found us a restaurant for dinner when we arrived very late. Their suggestions for places to go were spot on. I would have liked a microwave in the room, but that’s hardly a complaint. We’ll definitely return. Anyone visiting the west coast should choose this place. Lovely.

Such a good weekend escape. The accommodation was exceptional, and the hosting was warm and attentive. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches for women’s comfort and convenience. They made the stay feel extra special.
