The room had everything in its place, and it was clean, with those little details taken care of. We had a very comfortable two-night stay at Anker.

We spent one night here on the way to Cape Town, and it worked perfectly as a halfway stop. The kids were thrilled with the bunk beds, and the beautiful surroundings had gorgeous views. Driving around the area takes you to some amazing places.

For the price, I thought it was amazing. Everything was extremely clean, even the bedding smelled freshly washed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we drive to Cape Town again.

The fridge kept running and worked more like a freezer. There was also a half-used bag of ice cubes left in its freezer compartment from the previous guests. You’ll need to bring your own soap and shampoo, and warm blankets for winter, since the single comforter wasn’t enough. There’s nowhere to hang clothes, so we had to pile them on the only chair. This is a basic overnight place, not a guesthouse.
