The rooms were very clean, fresh smelling, and well maintained, and the young woman helping us was friendly and helpful. The grounds, though, felt neglected, with overgrown plants, poorly kept paths, and a pool that wasn't maintained. Finding the entrance was confusing too, since the online directions didn't match what we saw and we had to drive up another street to get in. The garden has potential and could be beautiful with proper care and clearer directions. When we asked about swimming, the maintenance guy said the pump wasn't working, but later said he'd fixed it and unlocked the gate for us. It's self catering, but everything was dirty so we couldn't braai. Around two hours later, the same person brought over a freestanding braai for us to use.

The Nook is absolutely beautiful, with a clean pool and a lovely view. We also appreciated the outstanding service and the one day of hosting for a youth closing event at the premises.

I stayed a night and a full day, and had a wonderful, warm apartment with all the necessities nearby. The location is great, tucked discreetly around a corner, and the caretakers were very hospitable. I'll definitely sleep there again 👌🏾👍🏾

We had an outstanding stay at The Nook Guest, all the way from the Eastern Cape!!!! The atmosphere was good and the service great. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and up to scratch. I highly recommend this B&B.

The hosts were warm, friendly, and hospitable, and it felt like home. There's a pretty garden, braai facilities, and nice outdoor seating where you can enjoy the garden and pool. They also provide an excellent continental breakfast in the room.
