The place was clean and comfortable, and when the bathroom light started acting up, the owner fixed it promptly. I did find one chipped cup and another that hadn’t been washed properly, with coffee marks inside. I’m sure the owner would have sorted that quickly too if I’d called, but it felt minor enough to handle myself.

The room was freezing, the air conditioning wouldn’t blow hot air, and the bed was hard. The place needs a revamp, it feels like being in a museum. The owner lives in the yard, and the dogs bark all the time.

I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned, with spider webs everywhere and old stains on the couch. There didn’t seem to be enough housekeeping staff, and I felt the customer service was lacking. I expected much more because the location is so ideal. I wouldn’t book for a long stay. I did stay there, and my review is true even if it isn’t favourable. The response to my feedback only confirmed that customer service doesn’t seem to be a priority, which is strange for a customer-focused business. Treat customers better.

A pleasant atmosphere and a very neat, clean self-catering place. The linen was fresh and clean smelling, and there was a clean fridge with cold water. Tea and coffee were complimentary. We enjoyed cooking and eating our meals under the trees in the courtyard. Security was top notch and the environment felt very safe.
