The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped, and the bedding made the room feel especially comfortable. We had a peaceful, refreshing stay at 12 on Top, and Anke’s warm hospitality made a real difference. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’d gladly recommend it for a stay.

The guesthouse was spotless and well maintained, and the staff clearly put care into keeping it that way. Its location also made it easy to get around Piet Retief, with shops, restaurants, and local attractions nearby. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming and focused on making our stay comfortable. Our room had everything we needed, including a coffee maker for the morning, a heater for the cooler evening, and DSTV channels for news, movies, or shows. The battery inverter was especially useful, keeping the power on during outages and giving us peace of mind. Those details made our stay much easier. We had a wonderful time at 12 on Top Guesthouse. The comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality all stood out, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Piet Retief.

We’ll choose 12onTop again whenever we’re in Piet Retief. Anke and the team, thank you for such a lovely weekend. Everything was ready when we arrived, and the unit was even better than we expected, with thoughtful details, pretty decor, comfortable beds and bedding, and a very clean, tidy space.

We had such a wonderful weekend. Anke really went out of her way to make it what we’d hoped for. The place was clean, spacious, and beautiful to stay in, with that home away from home feel.

The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and with an inverter installed, loadshedding wasn’t a headache.
