The setting was beautiful, and the cottage was spotless with crisp white linen. Lizzie was happy, friendly and accommodating whenever we had specific needs. All PPE protocols were in place. We were lucky that her hens laid fresh, tasty eggs. We'll definitely return, though the weekend felt much too short.

Fresh eggs from the garden each morning were a lovely bonus. The houses are something special, with a fireplace to warm you when needed, and the storybook-like surroundings make it easy to see why The Croft feels like home away from home. Lizzi and the crew make you feel like a VVIP every time. Once you've had the Croft experience, you'll want to return.

Whenever we visit family in pmb/hilton, The Croft is our first choice for a place to stay. The property is so calm and peaceful, and they always have fresh milk and eggs available. Our room was tidy, with lovely bedding and towels, not the cheap white ones you often get elsewhere.

Lizzi was such a welcoming host, happy to help, friendly and full of useful information. The place is thoughtfully designed and has all the comforts you need. My brief stay at The Croft was a real blessing, and I'd definitely go back.
