The team at Thistle Hotel made my stay a great one, especially the cleaning crew. Charity and her colleague were fantastic. She showed me some other rooms too, and they were all extremely clean thanks to their good work.

The staff and chefs were excellent, and I was very comfortable during my stay. I didn't realize there was a country club downstairs, though, and it got quite noisy until around 10.00pm. I'd probably stay there again if the need came up.

We had dinner at The Thistle tonight, and the food was exceptional. My husband had a rib eye steak, grilled just right, and I had the beef short ribs. The description matched them perfectly. I also liked getting my cuppachino in a mug for a change, instead of a tiny cup.

I spent the evening playing pool and met some amazing people. The staff and management were friendly, the vibe was awesome, and I'll definitely hang out there again.

A typical pub with secure parking, plus indoor and outdoor seating. The staff and service are great. Definitely a place to go if you're looking for company, relaxation, and a good laugh with mates.
