The stay was still good: the apartments are nice, very central in Plettenberg Bay, and the beach is within walking distance. There are safe, covered parking spaces too. The trouble was with the agents, Robberg Estates, managed by Mandie Truter. They weren't very friendly or helpful, and maintenance of the apartments wasn't up to standard.

Apartment no 8 was clean and tidy, and the location is nicely central. Just be aware, ants are a huge problem.

Our family booking was cancelled by Booking.com less than 48 hours before arrival, even though I'd reserved six months ahead to secure a place during busy season in Plett. The property representative wasn't helpful when I reached out, and gave no real assistance. Better support and communication would have helped with a stressful situation. They said it was a "double booking," which is hard to understand. If that was the reason, we should have been told sooner and offered another option. Now we're scrambling to find somewhere at the last minute, and have to pay out of pocket for the new booking while waiting seven days for the refund. The property could have been more proactive, explained things clearly, and reassured us. Please improve the communication so guests aren't left in this position.

The view was amazing. The accommodation was perfect, modern, really well equipped and spotless throughout. I'd definitely rent it again.

Stunning place with a nice sea view. It was very clean and well furnished, with good quality beds and everything you might need. Well priced too.
