Eleven

The penthouse was spacious and well furnished, with a spectacular view, and everything in the room worked as it should. We’ve travelled extensively, and this hotel has a lot of character. The coffee shop downstairs serves very good coffee and delicious treats, while the warm, charming wine bar makes an incredible “pizza.” The attention to detail is clear, and service from everyone was tops. Evans looked after us especially well. We also met the hands-on owners, who manage the place with real passion and clearly care about giving guests a great experience, including in all those small details that add up. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

The host made us feel welcome right away, and the café downstairs was such a cosy spot. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and croissant each morning. We spent two nights at Eleven Plett and were delighted to get a free upgrade to the Penthouse Suite, with its private pool and stunning views. The suite was spacious, beautiful, and spotless. It was one of the highlights of our road trip, and we wished we could stay longer. We’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Plettenberg Bay.

Really good coffee and baristas with a positive, can-do attitude. The terrace on Main st is quaint and great for people watching. The stodgy muffins let them down, though, I had to hunt for the blueberries. A great place to pause.

I worked from the restaurant during the day and found it super safe, with lovely people and lovely service. I left my laptop there several times while I went to the bathroom, and thankfully nothing happened. I also met a lot of people from overseas.
