I ended up extending my stay, and I’d absolutely recommend Nothandos. Even in the off season it had a lively feel, with instruments, books and stones to paint, so there was always something to do. The little “mini bar” works on trust, which I love. Tim explained everything about Plett and brought such a relaxed, fun vibe to the hostel. The dorm, bathroom, kitchen, coffee and indoor and outdoor hangout spots were all great. It was just a perfect stay! - Sarah and Seraina :)

The best part of staying here was Tim and Vinnie, who made it such a fun, friendly visit. Tim is a great host who welcomed us warmly and is a real stand up guy. Vinnie was relaxed and helpful too. The rooms and common area are clean, comfortable and full of character, and the location is very central. Thanks, guys❤️

The staff made me feel like a proper guest, which was what I loved most. I was happy with my stay and would come back. My private room was clean and quiet, and I could use everything I needed. They even provided hot water bottles :) The lodge is right in the city centre, close to restaurants and about 15 min walk from the beach. I felt safe the whole time.

It’s an easy walk into town from this well located Backpackers. Our host was warm and accommodating, and the room was comfortable and well stocked. Definitely recommend it.
