Plett Quarter Apartments

We were a group of nine, and the staff made us feel at home right away. Saunet, the Assistant General Manager, and the Rooms Division Manager gave us a warm, personal welcome. The porters labelled our bags and brought them straight to our rooms. Dinner at the Sky Bar was excellent. The barman greeted us warmly, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and service was quick. Our waiter was friendly and attentive all evening. The rooms were spotless, and the evening turndown service was a nice touch. Breakfast was just as good, with great service in the breakfast room. Every detail felt thoughtful and professional. I could write a whole novel about the service at Plett Quarter Hotel. A memorable stay, and we'll definitely be back!

The location is spot on, with shops along the street, a Clicks across the road and the beach nearby. The Sky Bar and Pool area has a stunning view. Our room was a good size for a hotel, and things were restocked almost twice daily. Housekeeping were quick, professional and respectful. Our belongings were safe even when we forgot to pack them away. The staff were warm, kind and always smiling, and they happily handled special requests. The food was tasty, well prepared, quick to arrive and served in big portions. They made our anniversary feel special with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, a fruit platter and a romantic room setup. We loved our stay and would come back next time we're in Plett. Good value for money.

The guys at the Sky bar were great, and the view there is lovely. The attached restaurant was okay, though they forgot our breakfast toast. There was plenty of food and it was hot enough. We didn't try the hotel's restaurant because we couldn't find it. But the “luxury suite” in Room 309 felt like a basic travelodge room, with nothing luxurious about it. It's a fair size, but faces the local nightlife, something the website doesn't mention. We heard the bass from the music all night. We were only there for two nights, thankfully. I'd come back to plettenberg, but I wouldn't stay here.

The rooftop pool and bar have amazing views, though there are only 9 sun loungers and they're all at one end of the pool. Courtyard rooms face inward. We had a sea-facing room with a balcony, both a good size, and the bathroom was well equipped. The staff were really helpful. This is a fairly new hotel, and we stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast at Sanctuary downstairs was included, with 10% off lunch and dinner too. It's right in central Plett, with secure parking below and shops and restaurants on your doorstep. A solid, comfortable choice in a great location.
