I’ve stayed here over the years while travelling around the country, and it’s a very accommodating guest house with friendly staff. The rooms were renovated a couple of years ago, and there’s shade netting for your car right in front of the door. Definitely recommend!

The person helping us check in seemed irritated and impatient, and wasn’t kind. The accommodation itself wasn’t great either. The white sheets looked dirty and had stains.

Pietersburg Lodge in Polokwane was clean and felt safe, and the reception staff were amazingly friendly and very helpful. Having a restaurant and bar on site was so convenient. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it if you’re after comfortable, secure accommodation in Polokwane.

I’d definitely visit again, and I can recommend the place to friends who are going to Polokwane.

The bathrooms had two brown towels, seriously, in 2023? There was only 1-ply tissue, and no small soap or shower gel. The rooms smelled mouldy, there was no cutlery, and they gave us literally one sachet each of coffee, sugar, and powdered milk. The kettle looked filthy, and the fridge was rusted inside, as if no one cared to replace it. I don’t think I’ll ever come back.
