We couldn’t stay here and left, then reported the issue to Booking. Com. We still haven’t received a refund, and Booking. Com is still investigating. We also heard afterward that people had allegedly paid and then found the gate wouldn’t be opened. The accommodation is still listed on some sites. When we arrived, the place was unhygienic: dog poop was scattered around, the room was dirty and smelly, and there was mould on the wall and kettle. The sliding doors wouldn’t open. A grumpy old man told us we had to park outside the property.

We had to leave and sit by the roadside while trying to find somewhere else, and there weren’t any hygiene standards. The shared-house room we were offered was filthy, covered in dog, cat, and bird hair, and it seemed the house hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The room stank and its sliding door didn’t work. They didn’t know about our booking when we arrived, so we were left waiting. If negative stars were an option, I’d give them. Neerasha

After driving for four hours, tired and stranded in a foreign town, I was left hugely disappointed. My fully paid reservation was cancelled within 30 minutes of arriving, with “fully booked” given as the only reason and no valid explanation. Nobody answered the phone or called to explain what had happened.

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Sera and Fanie. It’s peaceful and homely, with good food at very reasonable prices. I’d certainly come back if I get the chance.
