There’s plenty of space, and the surroundings are lovely, with nature all around and both the sea and river close enough to walk to. The place is clean and well managed. A few small things could use attention.

We stayed in a six-sleeper unit, which was tidy and clean. The kitchen is very small, and the square dining table technically has eight chairs, though only four adults can sit around it. There’s a kettle braai on the verandah. We brought the good-sized verandah table inside because it was too cold to sit out there.

I found the place really welcoming. The ocean views are beautiful, and I enjoyed the morning showers and the rain in the afternoons and evenings. Coming from somewhere hot, it was a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at this great place. The stairs were difficult for us since we’re all over 60, but otherwise it was perfect 👌.
