Our room felt like walking into a home, not just a guest house. It was clean, the milk was already in the fridge, and the fans were running. Carmien is the warmest guest house owner I’ve met, even though I’ve met plenty. She’s attentive, quick to respond, and will do whatever she can to help, including pick-ups and drop-offs. Thank you for being so hospitable to my children and me. We loved our stay at Eight Palms.
The guest house is only a few minutes from the beach, and there’s a shop just a two-minute walk down the road for little groceries. The service was amazing, and the place was so clean, with fresh towels provided.
The breakfast was fantastic, and our host was amazing. It was such a quiet, beautiful, clean place, and I loved every minute. Looking forward to visiting again.
A good option if all you need is somewhere to sleep. The rooms are clean, neat, and well maintained, with a kettle, bar fridge, and microwave. There were enough plates and cutlery for every meal, plus a braai area outside. On rainy days, though, the microwave was the only way to cook.
It’s quiet and relaxing, and everything is clean and well kept. There are a few more decor items than I’d personally prefer, but that’s just my taste.
