Forest Homes number 5 was a huge disappointment compared with what we booked. The kitchen had no utensils or working tap, and the main bathroom was missing its cold water tap. Downstairs, the flat's shower wasn't working either, so we had to wait until the next day for a plumber. The gas braai was out of gas, and we were told to refill the bottle ourselves. The people who seem to live there permanently were extremely rude.

The location is stunning, and the hosts were amazing. It's an absolutely beautiful place to stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The sea views and peaceful surroundings made this a wonderful spot to rest and unwind. It's child friendly, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It really did feel like a home away from home.

The beach is an easy walk away, with a lovely stretch for walking for many kilometres. The wooden houses are wonderful for a vacation, if you can find one available, and you can hear the ocean day and night. It's so calming, and a place you shouldn't overlook.

A security guard at the gate checks you in and opens and closes it whenever you come and go. The grounds are well paved and fenced, giving you a sense of safety from the outside world. It's one of the South Coast's most beautiful spots, with cosy homes right on the seafront.
