Dolphin Place

The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You could tell attention to detail mattered, and being in a very safe area gave us peace of mind. We were also warmly welcomed, including our dog, and we're grateful that our furry companion could join us. Dolphin Place is a beautiful beach house, and the pet-friendly welcome made the visit even more special. The lovely location, hospitality and cleanliness make it easy to recommend for anyone wanting to unwind. We'd happily give it five stars. A big thank you to the team for making our stay so enjoyable.

We saw lots of whales from the beautiful sea views, and the pool and outdoor space were lovely. My favourite part was being able to step straight from the backyard onto clean, beautiful beaches. The property felt secure, with a locked beach gate and plenty of parking, and shops for basics were an easy walk away. Books and board games made it great for kids, and we could relax without leaving the property except for the beach. It was set up for a big group better than any place I've stayed: enough beds, bathrooms, crockery, cutlery, properly sized pots and pans, two fridges and two bar fridges. The gas stove was handy during load shedding, and rechargeable lights and candles were provided. The house has lovely views and is a great family or friends getaway. Booking was simple, and the property manager sent arrival updates and checked whether we needed the pool net for kids or pets. The only drawback was the water cutoff during load shedding, so we had to keep up with the schedule and plan around it. It didn't spoil the trip. Awesome place, we'll definitely return!

The house has a lovely beach-house feel and is tastefully decorated. With six bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a cozy flatlet downstairs, it comfortably fits a larger family. There's plenty of room to gather, making it suitable for a group break or a couples' getaway. It feels private and peaceful, with its own pool and a short direct walk to the beach. The main swimming beach is also an easy stroll away, far enough to keep things quiet around the property.

Our family cousins had booked this place more than once, but the second booking was extremely disappointing. We had no freedom and definitely no privacy. There were people on site watching us through the window like bodyguards, and it felt as though we were being monitored. On the morning we checked out, the old man was already cleaning the pool...
