Being able to walk to the beach was a big part of what made our stay at Sanlou so memorable. The views were breathtaking, and the sea-view jacuzzi was a lovely place to unwind. Sandra and Louis were on hand whenever we needed help and made us feel at home. The house has four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of them en suites. Its furnished lounge and dining room give everyone room to relax, and the TV and jacuzzi are nice extras for time indoors. It worked really well for a sunny family holiday. Sanlou is a great base on the South African East Coast, with tourist attractions nearby too. I loved staying there and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sanlou. It felt like a little diamond on the wild South African East Coast, and Sandra and Louie were always available to help make it feel like home. The beach is close enough to walk to, with miles of shore, rock pools to explore, and sun to soak up. Shops, restaurants and tourist attractions are a short drive away. Inside, there's a kitchen, lounge and dining room, plus four roomy bedrooms and three bathrooms, including two en suites. The TV and sea-view jacuzzi made staying in enjoyable whatever the weather. It suits a sunny family break, and I can say with confidence I think you'll enjoy it too.

We’ll definitely be back. The beach is an easy walk away, the setting is beautiful, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The house has what you need, so you can just bring your clothes and towels. One of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in.
