Selati At Sea

We had a great time here, and it was affordable. The house is right on the beach with its own gate for getting to the waves. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, while shops, restaurants and activities for kids are only a short drive away. There’s a big four-bedroom house for families, or a cottage for groups of two to four.

We booked a weekend stay at Selati for 15 September 2023, and it was a terrible experience. Early Saturday morning, someone broke in and stole our belongings. The house alarm cords were unplugged, so the alarm couldn't be activated. I had been sure it worked and thought I should turn it on at night. The same thing had happened the weekend before, too. The cabins were also broken into. Cellphones, tablets and clothes were stolen, and our vehicles had been searched. We were so scared that we didn't sleep on Saturday night. I complained to the owner and was only told they were sorry it happened. Who is going to replace our belongings? No one contacted me afterwards to ask how we were doing. I'll never go back to Selati.

The saltwater pool was amazing, and the rooms were spacious and tidy. The staff at Selati @ Sea were beautiful and friendly, and we felt free and at home. It made for a memorable weekend, though we didn't get enough of the lovely holiday home. We definitely recommend it and will be back for a much longer stay.
