I spotted the pool and forgot about the people I came with 😂❣️ I love swimming, and the pool was my favorite part. I enjoyed everything else too.

The lodge itself is beautiful, with a great yard and good facilities. The receptionists were kind and helpful, and I enjoyed part of my stay. The rooms are very spacious, but there were bugs on the beds. That's understandable with the thatched roof and no ceilings. Breakfast was a big disappointment. I went at 9 and there was hardly any food left, and no juice, just ordinary tea and coffee. Some tables weren't set with a full set of cutlery. The selection was very limited, so it wasn't possible to have a satisfactory meal, even if they replenished the buffet.

We hosted a birthday party there. The venue was great, the food was so good, the staff were very helpful, and the pool was clean. We set up for the party the night before and everything seemed in order in the morning. But one of the chairs I'd hired was broken. When I asked the receptionist what had happened, she couldn't answer and said they'd investigate. Even now, they haven't called or made any effort to follow up and ask how I handled it. Please respect your guests.
