It’s quiet, the rooms are very clean, and the staff are really friendly. There’s a shopping centre or mall next door. I highly recommend this place.

The stay itself was lovely, and the place is clean with friendly staff. But other guests played loud music all day and into the early morning, then started again in the morning. There was also screaming, including noise at 5 am. Security and staff didn’t tell them to stop. When someone spoke to the guests, they said other people should check out at 10 am so they could carry on in peace. I was disappointed that staff didn’t address the noise or make sure guests were considerate. I like order, so I won’t be coming back.

We were travelling somewhere else and booked this guesthouse for one night. It looks good and is in a nice area, but the room we were given was on the ground floor, beside the pathway and facing the parking lot, and it had cockroaches. They were everywhere, including on the bed and in the toilet. I can’t sleep with the lights on, but we had to leave them on in an attempt to keep the roaches away from the bed. We even blocked our ears with cotton when going to sleep. It was a very uncomfortable night. We didn’t want to take any roaches into our luggage, so we couldn’t bring our bags from the car into the room. Getting ready in the morning was something else. The place needs to be fumigated ASAP. This absolutely shouldn’t be overlooked when running a guesthouse. We spoke to the manager and hope they do something. I’m not trying to bad-mouth the place, but this was our experience.

I stayed one night and liked the place’s vibe. It’s really nice, and I’d recommend it to anyone passing through Rustenburg. Phone reception is very poor, though, and there’s no WiFi. The bathrooms could also use little soaps and lotions.
