Brooklyn is a great base for business, and the guesthouse is in a safe, peaceful spot. Brooklyn Mall is just three blocks away. The service was high quality, and the people at both the guesthouse and restaurant were lovely. The airport shuttle deserves a sixth star, especially the driver Hulisani, who was absolutely amazing. Tip him when you can! I'll definitely stay again when I visit.

We had delicious, well-prepared food, and I loved the nostalgic atmosphere. It brought back a lot of happy memories. This is an excellent place for functions, family get-togethers, and small parties. Definitely a great choice for all kinds of occasions.

The staff were helpful, and the location is great, in one of Pretoria's best suburbs and close to amenities. I missed having a DSTV bouquet or Netflix on the TV, and a small fridge in the room would've been nice.

The garden and pool seem to be the only good things. I've stayed here twice on separate occasions, in different rooms that I didn't choose. Both times the place was dirty: there were holes in the ceiling or bedding, mould on the bathroom ceiling, and stains or hair on the bedding. The stove didn't work either. Honestly, I don't know where the good reviews came from.

Even though we didn't stay long or book a fancy room, my boyfriend and I had such a memorable time. The staff were really friendly, and the place is beautiful and full of nature. We enjoyed walking around and taking it all in. There's a lovely restaurant attached to the hotel too. I just wish more people visited, because they deserve it. Going there was a wonderful experience. Loved it!
