On arrival, the room I was checked into smelled strange, and when I picked up the pillow, a bug jumped out from underneath it. I was completely put off and asked to cancel. The address is in Eastlynne, not Villeria as shown here. I got less than a 50% discount for arriving to a room that wasn't suitable. The outdoors and building looked badly neglected and nothing like the photos anymore. I couldn't recognise the exterior from the pictures when I arrived, even though the inside was in stark contrast. The name is confusing too, since it copies the name of a reputable guest house in Pretoria. I booked another Bnb in 20min. Unfortunately, I'd left my phone in the room. The host Gene made collecting it as unpleasant and expensive as possible, being unavailable except during peak traffic and constantly arguing, even though there are staff there all day. It took Police and Lawyers a week to sort it out.

A great budget spot, and a pleasant surprise for the price. It's got everything you need for self-catering. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Had a lovely stay, and the place was well furnished for most basic needs. Marie was fantastic, with caring service. Thanx.

The only downside is there's no cleaning service during your stay, so it's best to pack your own towels.
