Nkanyiso and Thabang looked after my team and me so well. They were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I’m really glad we came, the hotel service was exceptional and the catering was top notch.

The staff were friendly, but the stay was a real letdown. There was no power, and this wasn’t load shedding or a city outage. The generator kept some lights on, but the plugs still didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phones. The hotel phones weren’t working either, which left me wondering how we were meant to call for service. There was no coffee in the morning, too. Hotel 224 is meant to be one of the best, but this was much worse than I expected. What’s the point of a generator when there’s no load shedding if we still can’t charge anything? For what I paid, it felt like being in a cheap R150 BNB. I’d give it 3/10 🙏🙏

The food was delicious, and the waiters were professional, friendly, and great with customers. I arranged catering for a full day conference at our premises, and the service was excellent.

The food was so nice, and room service was great. Nkanyiso took the time to show me the hotel’s scenic views, which was really kind of him. The staff were welcoming and the whole experience was great. I’d recommend it to others.
