I booked at the last minute, and Jan was really friendly and made sure I had what I needed. The rooms are lovely and clean, the location feels safe, and there’s a beautiful view and a clean pool. Restaurants are close by too. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend booking here :)

Jopasso is a charming little hotel tucked into a lovely, leafy corner of Pretoria, with great views. We liked our room, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The furnishings were good and the shower decent. The pool gets no sun because of the design, so it stays freezing even when it’s been 32°C. The place is also starting to show its age.

The meals I had there were very enjoyable, and the staff were friendly, so I felt welcome. My room was large, nicely decorated, and had a balcony, though I didn’t use it in the freezing winter weather. A heater or electric blanket would have helped, and I would’ve liked a coffee station in the room or somewhere else for a coffeeholic like me. I’d still stay again.

Breakfast was top class and served when it suited us. The rooms have plenty of cupboard space for longer stays, and there’s fast WiFi and DSTV. You can also connect your laptop to the room TV. We had a great weekend at this clean, quiet guest house, with helpful, friendly staff. I’ll definitely stay again.
