The host kept checking that we were comfortable and happy. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a huge TV, and a beautiful bathroom. The pool and jacuzzi area is like nowhere else. It’s a relaxing, beautiful place, and breakfast was delicious.

The terraces catch the sunset over Pretoria, and during our music and dining evenings with Blue Diamond Collective, acoustic guitar and easy conversation filled the rooms. Inn on Mars in Waterkloof feels like a place made for people to connect. It’s a house with history, from the architecture and heritage details inside to the terraces looking out over the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with privacy that could suit business travellers, diplomats, or others. There’s creative potential here too: film shoots, wedding photos, private milestone celebrations, executive networking, and small acoustic performances all seem well suited to the venue. Its terraces, interiors, and legacy walls photograph beautifully, and the light feels cinematic. In a world full of fast, trend-driven venues, this property feels steady and intentional. Some houses are made for profit, some for memories. Inn on Mars offers both.
