Mount Vista Guest House

The area is quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed watching soccer on the big screen in the living room, where we got to know other guests. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean and spacious, with a big bed and fresh linen. Dinner was good and filling. There's a well kept garden, a swimming pool and a braai area, and I was especially glad my big truck could park in the yard. South African people are warm and friendly. I'd recommend Mount Vista motel anywhere.

Even with a last-minute booking, the owner made us feel welcome and was incredibly accommodating. The place is spotless, private and safe, with a beautiful pool and a peaceful, homely feel. The host is a phenomenal woman who goes above and beyond for her guests. I loved my stay and will definitely come back. A 7-star experience.

My two weeks here felt like being part of a family, and I'll definitely return. Mom Ingrid, the Managing Director, brings a motherly warmth to the whole place, while Uncle Reggie was wonderfully friendly. Nossy from Administration was always helpful and professional, and the rest of the staff made my stay comfortable. Every meal tasted home-cooked with love, and the surroundings were peaceful, clean and homely. I arrived from Namibia and had one of the best hospitality experiences I've had. During my extended project in Rosslyn, I looked forward to going “Home” each day. It felt like home away from home, thanks to Mama Ingrid and Reggie, who were so friendly and welcoming and made me feel like family. After work, I could unwind by the pool or have a quick braai beside the beautiful mountain. Everything was clean and new. Such a wonderful experience, thank you.
