Horseshoe Inn

We stayed at the Airport Hotel Kimberley, while the conference and catering were at the Horseshoe Inn in Kimberley. The conference arrangements were poorly supported: it took nearly two days and repeated follow-ups to get basic supplies like pens and notebooks, which made a professional event frustrating. Supper was restricted to 18:00-19:00, an impractical window for people attending full-day sessions. The managers seemed unfriendly and dismissive when concerns came up, with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude instead of trying to help. A conference venue should be responsive and hospitable, but that wasn't our experience. I strongly wouldn't recommend the Horseshoe Inn for conferences or catering.

The staff were friendly, which was the one good point. The shower was dirty, the room blinds were broken, and the rooms are small for the price they charge. Everything else was a letdown, so I'd suggest booking somewhere else.

The food was awful, and the rooms had dirty towels and no microwaves. There were no taps inside, so we made coffee with toilet water from the basin. They only had one iron, and the furniture was old. I travel and create content, but that experience was bad enough that I couldn't vlog. I wasn't happy with anything and can't recommend the place to anyone. THANK YOU

The catering was excellent, and everything was well organized for our business meeting in the conference hall. We had coffee, tea and a light lunch. Thanks to Ina and the Horseshoe Motel Team.
