137 Murray Guesthouse

The owner and workers were incredibly helpful, and made our time in UP much more comfortable than we’d expected. 137 Murry Street is one of the best places I’ve seen for accomodations. Brooklyn mall is close by if you need groceries, and the meals they serve are great and well made. Five stars for the great service, people and help.

We came for our annual student sessions at Hatfield Online school, staying three nights with 12 Students and 2 Teachers. The facilities far exceeded what we expected, and the service was way above standard. We’ve never experienced staff who were this kind and helpful elsewhere. This place deserves all its accolades. Thank you, Nanette and team. There are too many names to mention.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, with two soft, thick blankets provided in each room. Small touches make a difference here, like an iron, ironing board and hairdryer in every room, and big juice glasses at breakfast. The food is amazing, and they’ll sort out takeaways if you miss breakfast, which never happens at most places. The staff are amazing, and the manager is great too. Easily the best guest house I’ve stayed in.

The garden is stunning, and the staff were kind during the workshop. Parking was a real headache, though. The pool cover isn't reinforced, and one guest fell in, so it doesn't feel suitable for little kids. They also need more toilets.
