The location is great, and the staff and security were very friendly. But housekeeping needs serious attention. Room 105 had terrible shower drainage, the bar fridge was tiny, and there were roaches. These are simple things to fix, and I pointed them out without seeing any change. For the price, it isn't worth it, and coming back would be doing myself a disservice.

We left at night after finding cockroaches in the room, so we didn't stay the night as planned. The bathrooms were filthy, with mold and grime on the shower walls and floor, despite being said to be clean. The rooms smelled damp and had visible water rot on the walls. The parking was limited and badly laid out. Security let another car block my friend's car in. For a place in a rundown part of Pretoria CBD, the price is ridiculous. Hospitality shouldn't be a quick-money scheme.

We stayed four days. The room was clean and pleasant, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the dining area was decent. Anton was helpful and tried to sort out a TV problem, and the WiFi worked perfectly. The area was relatively nice too. They only had six TV channels, though, and there was no breakfast on our last day.

We were close to all the amenities, but the hotel itself was wonderfully quiet, just what my wife and I wanted. Our room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, with enough space to relax and chat with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it to friends and relatives.
