The Park Lodge Hotel

Chef Jerry made sure everyone was pleased with the fresh, delicious food. I really appreciate the chefs and cooks for their energy and enthusiasm, and for presenting their work so confidently. Thanks for the great service!

We arrived expecting the six nights we had confirmed by phone, only to be told the booking couldn't be found and that we could stay for just two nights. The rooms we had reserved were apparently given to prospective guests who hadn't arrived, and we were told to move to smaller rooms instead. The front desk staff couldn't sort it out or offer a suitable option. As paying guests, we expected more professional service. Management should step in when situations like this come up. After this, our organization may stop using Park Lodge Hotel. I hope the hotel acts quickly to prevent a repeat.

The loud band was dealt with within ten minutes after I raised it, and the stay was lovely. My fridge was leaking when I arrived, but a cleaning lady came by and offered to clean it before I even said anything. The bellman was really friendly and helpful, and reception stayed pleasant, including when they gave me my requested 6 am wake-up calls.

I had a terrible experience. On arrival I asked for a standard room, but was told none were available and was put in an executive room for three days. When I asked reception on day three about extending in a standard room, they again said everything was booked. I called after leaving, and suddenly there were rooms available. I don't know if they were trying to sell the more expensive room first, but that's how it came across. The lady who helped me was named khoketso.
