The host, and owner, is one of the friendliest people I've met. We were staying there as students, and he helped meet many of our needs and made us feel much safer. The grounds sit high above the city, almost like a fortress, and the Union buildings are close enough to walk to, in a quaint suburb full of embassies. Melvin Residence has a historic look, with Victorian and Dutch style walls together. The main house furnishings feel homely and take you back in time, while the guest rooms have a more modern touch. It made for an interesting home away from home.

Piet made us feel right at home. The place in Acadia is lovely, with a comfortable bed and secure parking. You can walk to the Union buildings, and I'd recommend staying here.

It's a peaceful spot with lovely grounds, and the owner is really friendly and helpful. This is a nice little guesthouse. Some facilities could use an update, and the small TV buzzes a bit, but if that doesn't bother you, you'll love the place.

The owner was friendly, and the location was good. One drawback was having to go out for dinner using a voucher, which meant arranging a taxi.

It's a lovely guesthouse in a central spot, and the owner was very friendly. I'd definitely recommend it 👍
