We got really poor reception yesterday and felt very unwelcome. There was no check-in desk, and the gates were locked. Our Uber driver had to call for us to be let in, which took quite a while. Once inside, the lady spoke sharply and rudely about our room not being ready, though we were happy to wait. It may have been a language barrier, but we still felt unwelcome. While waiting, we saw that the toilet facilities were disgusting and the outdoor pool was green and unusable. We booked another hotel and left as soon as we could, after telling the lady. The business wouldn't honor the free cancellation, so we're now trying to arrange a refund through booking.com. We don't recommend this accommodation to international travelers.

The breakfast was really tasty, and our rooms were clean and comfortable. The outside area was very dusty, with leaves all over the furniture. The steps up to the rooms at the top were uneven.

Vivienne and the team were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The gorgeous garden is a real haven of tranquility. Best of all, there was no load shedding. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We only stayed one night, but it was an exceptional experience. Vivienne was a wonderful hostess, so warm, and the staff were friendly and helpful with everything. I'll definitely come back for a longer visit.
