The room I got was filthy and falling apart, and didn’t look like the nice rooms shown in the ads. There was no view, and it wasn’t what the photos showed. The coffee station was laughable too. I’d look elsewhere, since you can get a better room for the same price. I’ve only just arrived and already want to leave. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The garden was a highlight, with lots of space and a charming little hidden waterfall. From the property you can see Menlyn and enjoy lovely views across Pretoria East. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and had a natural feel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and their great service made the stay even more memorable. We absolutely loved it, and would recommend it for a getaway or rendezvous.

The place wasn’t as advertised in the online pictures, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Towels, tissues and shower gel weren’t replenished because the room wasn’t serviced daily. Worse, the facility treats dirty towels as damage and charges for them. A little makeup smudge on a white towel was enough for them to demand payment, which seems unreasonable for something used as a towel. Some rooms have no toilet door, so there’s no privacy in the bathroom. Guests don’t get a key or gate remote either, so you have to honk and call to be let in. Very horrible place.

The pool was lovely and the service was friendly. The rooms were nice too, and the bathroom could use an update, though the price reflected that. Dinner wasn’t great: our T-bone was tough and rather tasteless. I’d stay again, but choose something else for dinner.

The room was generally neat and clean, and the price was reasonable. Inside the cupboards, though, it wasn’t clean. It also doesn’t deserve a four-star rating.
