Breakfast on the veranda was fantastic, and the room was both spacious and beautiful. Vanessa greeted us warmly and offered homemade lemonade when we arrived. I only stayed one night last week, and the garden made it hard to leave, with its water features, tables, benches, and chaise lounges. The pool looked warm and inviting, though I never got the chance to swim. I can't say enough good things about the place. If I’m lucky enough to be back in the area, I’d stay as long as I could.

The Store is full of lovely antiques and objects, and it was tempting to browse there and in the other shops around Prince Albert. We weren’t sure what to expect from the town, but Country Stay and Store completely won us over. The whole place is beautiful and peaceful, with great attention to detail. The staff were welcoming and even arranged a dinner reservation for us. We’d happily return and stay longer, and would highly recommend it.

The garden and pool at the guesthouse are beautiful, and there are plenty of spots to sit outside. Breakfast was delightful, and the homemade lemonade was a thoughtful touch. Colleen made me feel at home from our first phone call through arrival, always warm and attentive. My cottage felt like a private, country-chic retreat. The bed was super comfortable, the shower room had lovely amenities, and I had room on the verandah to roll out my yoga mat or read on the couch. It was well equipped with a fan, air conditioner, and mozzie spray. Such a peaceful, homely escape. I can’t wait to come back.

The house has a style we enjoyed, and the location suited us. We also had a lovely breakfast. But there were masses of mosquitos, and we had no hot water for the whole stay. We raised the issue and it still wasn’t fixed.
