Dreams

The house at Dreams felt roomy and homey, and our kids loved having little corners where they could go off and have some time to themselves. The bottle of wine, truffles and homemade card were a lovely surprise. Those touches made us feel like special guests. We'd recommend Dreams to any family holidaying in Pringle Bay.

Our little girls had plenty to keep them busy, with toys, books and games around the house. There are two bathrooms, both with showers, and one also has a nice bath to relax in. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking together in the open-plan dining and kitchen area, and there's a braai space and garden out back. It's a lovely family home just a couple of minutes' walk from the beach. The host was friendly, caring and accommodating. We'll be back :)

Catarina arranged a highchair, cot and bath for the baby, which was very helpful. The house also has plenty of books and toys, and my granddaughter played with all of them. It's only a few minutes from the beach and has what you need for a comfortable stay. The stairs down to the garden may feel daunting for older people or small children, though they can be managed. We enjoyed our stay at Dreams.

The beach is a huge stretch of sand, about a 3-5 minute walk over the dunes. The famous wind can be a challenge, though it died down completely on a beautiful Sunday. The house is spacious and very well furnished for a holiday. Upstairs, the main bedroom area has two separate lounges, one with a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas hob, and there's a great verandah for a braai.
