The Mermaid's Tail

We've been here three times and will definitely return. It's a beautiful, spacious home, very well stocked with towels, crockery, pans and glasses. Paul is an incredible host. During extended regional power cuts, our son needed to work online and thought he might have to head home. Paul called around the village to find somewhere with a generator, then arranged for a neighbour to let him recharge his battery using their solar power. He even gave us a gift to apologize for the outages, though they weren't his fault. Compliments also to Lamson, who keeps the house beautiful and is so welcoming and accommodating. I can't recommend this place enough.

The beaches, dunes for sandboarding and shops are all a short walk away, which makes the location really convenient. The house was comfortable, well kept and ultra spacious, and the staff were nice and professional. Our family of 12 slept there. Just keep an eye out for baboons, they made off with our granola, lol. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

The stars were so bright at night, and the whole place had fresh air, a peaceful feel and lovely views all around. It made our stay spectacular. The accommodation felt like a comfortable home away from home, cosy and well sorted. I'd recommend Mermaids Tail to anyone looking for that kind of stay.

We had loadshedding, but it didn't cause any trouble because the place is so well equipped for it. The sundeck overlooking the pool and part of the ocean was spectacular, peaceful and tranquil. You could happily stay here without going anywhere. The house is beautiful and clean, with everything catered for plus extra bells and whistles. Huge thanks to Paul and Jenny for being so kind and letting us enjoy their home. I hope we'll be back soon.
