The villa itself is stunning, but the restaurant visit was a letdown from the start. When my friends and I arrived yesterday, we were told the chef and bartender were out, so we waited about 30 minutes for them to return. Then the bartender said there was no blender for the strawberry Daiquiri, and we had to pick different cocktails. Even those drinks took far too long, and the straws looked like they’d been roughly cut in half. The prawns and cheesecake we tried to order were both on the menu, but the chef said neither was available. Nothing we wanted was actually provided. It was a really disappointing level of service, and I hope they sort these problems out so future guests have a better experience.

The rooms are spacious and nice, but I wouldn’t book here again. My room gets 8/10: the aircon wasn’t working in freezing weather, and the small heater they gave me didn’t help much. Breakfast was only 2/10, so it’s probably better to book without it. Service was the worst part, just 1/10. I stood outside in the cold for 20 minutes waiting for someone to open the gate. No one picked up when I called several times, and when a woman finally opened, she didn’t apologize. She just said I hadn’t told them what time I was coming.

The sound from this place is deafening. I’m a few blocks away and hear it week after week, so I can only imagine what the neighbours right beside it deal with. A venue like this doesn’t belong in a residential area. I also have concerns about the construction, especially after the wall next door fell and the deck was put in recently. It feels like a disaster waiting to happen.

This is a nightclub in a quiet suburb, whatever it claims to be. There’s no regard for the neighbours or by-laws, and management seems arrogant, doing whatever it wants. Shocking.

I went to see what the fuss was about, but the noise was unbearable and cars filled the street. Driving or finding parking nearby was impossible. No one answered the phone or the gate, and JMPD and police were on site dealing with multiple complaints. It made the place look like a crime scene. Definitely not somewhere I’d recommend for a quiet stay or business travel.
