All Suite on 14th

The security guards are the one bright spot here. They’re great and take their work seriously. The management team doesn’t inspire the same confidence, though. There’s so much ongoing repair and upkeep needed, and it keeps being left undone. The body corporate is useless, practically absent. Come see the current state of the place; it’s looked like this for months. Don’t be fooled by the attractive appearance. If you’re considering buying or renting, I’d say don’t. You’ll probably want to leave as quickly as you arrived. TERRIBLE.

The restaurant was superb. The food was really well prepared, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly well trained. They kept checking on everyone. We also used the conference rooms, which worked well enough for our group of fewer than 25. Staff came by regularly to top up refreshments and clean. It was a lovely experience.

Breakfast was tasty, even though there wasn't much to choose from. The room was very large, with an attached bathroom, and there was a huge hall as well. It had a washing machine, microwave, dishes, and other basics. The terrace was spacious and had a great view. I stayed one night and liked the place. I'd happily stay again if I'm back in Johannesburg.

The apartment is great and the service really does match a 4 star rating. If you don't feel like cooking, there's a diner, and you can request what you'd like ahead of time. The main drawbacks are weak WiFi and poor cellular reception.
