There’s a German bar and restaurant on site, with tasty food, cocktails, beer on tap, and daily happy hour from 4 to 7. The whole place has a cheerful vibe that’s hard to find, and the staff are welcoming, friendly, and efficient. The rooms are clean and have the basics, with different amenities depending on the room. There are also men’s and women’s dorms with four or six beds, each with its own full bathroom. It’s affordable and right in the heart of Randburg. You feel at home as soon as you arrive after a long trip. A must visit if you’re in the area!

The location is pleasant and smart, but the beds, rooms, and general upkeep were filthy. There was no hot water, and water was leaking all over the room. I had a very bad experience and asked for a refund so I could move elsewhere. The owner wouldn’t budge and said I’d only get my money back by Monday. Imagine being told that because you’re visiting from another country. They take customers for granted.

The kitchen is filthy and full of cockroaches, and there aren’t enough stoves for everyone, so cooking means long waits. The Wi-Fi is always having problems, and my shower is so dirty I wear flip-flops every time I use it. Housekeeping staff are rude. This place doesn’t deserve any stars. I had to add one to post this. Don’t waste your money coming here.

The kitchen is filthy, and the rooms are dirty. The mattresses are poor quality and impossible to sleep on. The owners aren’t well liked. James at reception, though, is pleasant and professional.
