We had an extended checkout, which they kindly arranged, and Cnr Cafe was a great suggestion for dinner, just a short walk away. Delia was a lovely, welcoming host who listened and helped with what we needed. Rutland House made our final days in South Africa memorable, with a beautiful garden all around the property. Our room was spacious, airy, private, and well equipped, with the comfort of an old armchair. Sarah cooked delicious breakfasts each day, and having them in the dining room overlooking the garden was a lovely way to start the morning. The place felt secure, friendly, and very restful, and it's about 40 minutes from the airport. We'd happily recommend it.

We were sorry to leave after our two-night business trip. Delia made me and my team feel comfortable and right at home. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, opening onto a beautifully kept garden. Each one felt like its own little cottage, with the essentials and thoughtful touches like filter coffee in the room and fresh milk in the fridge. It was a restful place to come back to after the day, and breakfast was brilliant. On a hot day, relaxing by the pool with a glass of wine is lovely. I'll definitely stay again on my next work trip.

A very quiet place to stay in Johannesburg, kept in great condition and clean and secure. The internet is good, and breakfast is fresh and healthy. The small garden and pool are lovely. The owner, Dalia, is a very nice lady, and the place is also popular on TripAdvisor.

My colleagues and I have stayed here from time to time over the past three years. It's a peaceful, lovely place with several different room and suite layouts. The location is central, and the owner cooks breakfast to order in a beautiful, sunny room. Highly recommended.

Delia is the best, and this has felt like home on every visit. I've stayed at Rutland House seven times and it never disappoints. The location is peaceful, central, and secure, making it a great fit for work or a getaway. Hard to find fault here.
