The garden and large pool are lovely, and I felt safe in the quiet Bryanston neighborhood, with 24-hour security. It’s an upmarket area around 15 minutes from Sandton’s business hub. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and underfloor heating, and the bed was comfortable, though some parts looked dated and the blankets smelled unpleasant. Breakfast was a highlight, tasty and nicely served, and the staff were generally friendly. Service could be inconsistent, though. There’s no in-house chef for evening meals, so dinner has to be ordered early in the day. The sauna and spa are handy extras if you have time, and the backup generators mean load-shedding doesn’t disrupt your stay. My stay at Summerview Boutique Hotel & Conference was average. It’s a decent, affordable choice for a short business trip or quiet stopover, but it didn’t feel like a high-end luxury experience.

The garden is lovely, and it’s a tranquil venue. I came for a BNI meeting and enjoyed breakfast. The gentleman at the front fesk was really friendly. I haven’t seen the rooms, but several BNI chapters meet here, so I’ll be back next month. I’d mistakenly reviewed it as the Stoep Restaurant before, my mistake.

We were welcomed with coffee, muffins and water, then had a lovely buffet breakfast at The Stoep Restaurant for the launch of the Friday Club branch there.

We only stayed the night, then left without eating the breakfast we’d paid for because the room was so dirty and gross. There was no hot water, and it didn’t look like the room we’d booked. For what you get, it’s overpriced.
